Manny Pacquiao landed more than twice as many power punches as Lucas Matthysse in their world-title fight at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Pacquiao won the bout via seventh-round TKO to capture the World Boxing Association welterweight world title.

CompuBox counted 181 power punches thrown by Pacquiao, 79 of which he landed, compared with Matthysse who was 36 of 131 in the same category.

Pacquiao's conversion rate is an impressive 44%, while Matthysse, supposedly known as hard-hitter, made only 27%.

Pacquiao, who at 39 is 4 years older than Matthysse, was more active overall.

He threw a total 344 punches, landing 95 of them, while Matthysse launched 246 of his own and landed just 57.

In terms of percentage, Pacquiao connected on 28% of his punches, while Matthysse 23%.
