While their big brothers try to take care of business this side of the Pacific, the Philippines' boys national team has crossed the pond, taking their act to the FIBA Under-17 World Cup, which begins this weekend in Argentina.

By now, local basketball fans are familiar with the faces of the senior Gilas Pilipinas side, but how about their junior counterparts?

ABS-CBN News compiled images of the Batang Gilas players who competed in the FIBA Asia under-16 tournament in China in April, all of whom are seeing action in Argentina in the next few days.

(Also on the team playing in South America are Gerry Abadiano, Bismark Lina, Migs Pascual and Carl Tamayo, who did not participate in the Asia under-16 tournament.)
