Barangay Ginebra got off to a blistering start and never letup to torch Alaska, 105-86, and stretch its winning streak in the 2018 PBA Cai visionommissioner’s Cup Sunday night at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Gin Kings took a 30-16 lead in the first 12 minutes of the game before extending it to as high as 33 points, 85-52, late in the third quarter.
“I was surprised by what happened in the first half. I don’t know what we’re doing that’s making us play as well as we are,” said Ginebra head coach Tim Cone.
