MANILA—It's not just young people who need to be careful when talking to people on social media, as the latest episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya" proves.

In Saturday's episode, which talked about identity theft, Vivian Taluban (Rufa Mae Quinto) learned her lesson the hard way after someone pretended to be her daughter, Caitlin (Michelle Vito), on social media and started sending out sensitive photos.

Despite Caitlin's warning, Vivian gave her trust to people she only met online, which eventually affected her daughter's life.
