Sacramento Kings rookie Marvin Bagley III is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday after getting injured in the team's summer league game Saturday night, the team announced.
The Kings' 19-year-old rookie tweaked his right hip flexor and groin area during Sacramento's 71-63 loss to the Phoenix Suns Saturday in Las Vegas. Bagley scored 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting with seven rebounds in 32 minutes.
Sacramento announced that the former Duke star would miss the Sunday summer league game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Bagley is doubtful to play Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Bagley was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in June, officially signing his rookie NBA deal with the Kings on July 1.
