Fresh from a makeover, Judy Ann Santos looks like a fierce, no-nonsense executive in the first on-set photos of "Starla," her first teleserye in five years.

Santos, dubbed local showbiz's "Queen of Pinoy Soap Opera," recently started shooting the pilot episode of the Dreamscape Entertainment Television production, under the direction of Onat Diaz ("Asintado," "Wildflower").

Dreamscape, on Instagram, shared the first official look at Santos in-character, wearing a crisp white blazer, and with a new short hairstyle matched with dark makeup.

Details of the story have yet to be released, but going by Santos's stern appearance in the set photos, her character will likely be a go-getter with little patience for mistakes.

Joining Santos in the cast of "Starla" are Joem Bascon, Kathleen Hermosa, Anna Luna, Meryll Soriano, Gabe Mercado, Simon Ibarra, Bodjie Pascua, Joel Saracho, Janus del Prado, and Joel Torre.
