MANILA — It's difficult to be happy when you have to lie about who you are.
Since admitting that he is bisexual in his autobiography, "Beyond the Mark," singer Mark Bautista certainly appears more content and pleased with the changes in his life.

"I just feel na bagong milestone talaga siya for me," he told reporters, including ABS-CBN News' Mario Dumaual, this Wednesday. "Accept me for who I am. I don't care anymore."
Bautista was speaking at the sidelines of a press conference for the launch of "Eto na! Musikal nAPO!" which he is a part of. The musical comedy is scheduled to open this August.

He admitted that his decision to come out drew mixed reactions from his fans. While some were ecstatic after reading the leaked excerpts of his book, others felt disappointed.
"Siyempre hindi ko ma-please lahat," he explained." Noong first na lumabas, may mga nag-me-message sa akin, 'Bakit gano'n?'"
He shared though that he has received far less negativity now that his book is officially out. "Siguro nabasa na nila [at nakita na] malinis 'yung intensyon ko for the book."
"Now, marami akong natatanggap na na-inspire ng book, or one way or the other natulungan sila."

He added that he has been enjoying this new chapter in his life. "Hindi na ako nagpapaapekto sa kung anuman. Ini-enjoy ko lang 'yung bawat moment. …Ini-enjoy ko kung ano ang ngayon."

Prodded about his current love live, he replied that he's single.
"Isasantabi ko muna 'yan. Kung may papasok, kung may darating sa buhay ko na gano'n, at least kilala na nila ako, wala na akong kailangan i-explain sa buhay ko. Just accept me for who I am."
