MANILA – It’s normal for celebrities to be scrutinized by their followers for every little thing that they do, even getting a haircut.

But Sue Ramirez is not having any of it.

The actress has been constantly questioned on social media about her sexual orientation since she sported a bold pixie cut – a welcome change to her long locks.

Questions ranged from “are you a lesbian” to “are you heartbroken,” and both did not sit well with Ramirez.

She took to Twitter to speak her mind, expressing her frustration at how some people could not just let her do whatever she wants with her hair.

“‘Why did you cut your hair? Are you a lesbian?’ Such a stupid question. Is that how we base sexual orientation now? Really?” she said.

In another post, she wrote, unedited: “CAN’T I JUST FCKN CUT MY HAIR?”

“Nagdududa na daw sila. Wow. Duda talaga? Ano to? Krimen? Kasalanan? E kung totoo nga? Ano naman? Masama ba?”

Ramirez went on to stress that she is not offended to be mistaken for a lesbian, although she is done with people judging others solely based on their haircut.

“I am not offended to be called or asked if I’m lesbian. There’s nothing wrong with being so. I just hate how people judge sexuality so easily nowadays,” she said.
