Elusive actor John Lloyd Cruz, who remains on hiatus from showbiz amid reports of his being a first-time dad, shared a rare selfie Sunday with the "only paparazzi I love" — an apparent reference to the legal battle his girlfriend Ellen Adarna is involved in.

On Instagram, Cruz departed from his usual artsy shots with a selfie with Roberto Bellini, whose eponymous restaurant in Cubao, Quezon City was a setting in the actor's iconic film "One More Chance." (See the 3:30 mark in the video below for the scene.)

Bellini's, the restaurant, enjoyed an influx of guests after its exposure in the Star Cinema film. Part of its homage to "One More Chance" are permanent fixtures — chairs — with the name of the stars, including Cruz's.

Cruz's "paparazzi" mention was in reference to Bellini's past career as a paparazzo, having photographed scores of Hollywood celebrities, and even the likes of Princess Diana and Prince Charles.

"Paparazzi," the term, also happens to be a central issue in the cybercrime and child abuse complaints filed against Adarna, Cruz's partner. The cases are in relation to the actress publicly accusing a minor of being a "pap," short for paparazzi.
