bin picking – PAL to passengers: Leave for airport ‘earlier than usual’ on July 14 to 15
MANILA – Philippine Airlines on Friday advised its passengers traveling out of Manila on July 14 and 15 to leave for the airport earlier than usual due to an expected traffic jam in Manila.
Passengers coming from the north and west side of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 "should allocate ample travel time to reach the airport," PAL said in an advisory.
Authorities said at least 200,000 Iglesia ni Cristo members are expected to participate in an event at the Rizal Park in Manila.
Traffic will be rerouted in parts of Metro Manila during the said period, according to the Metro Manila Development Authority.
The MMDA already provided alternate routes for motorists.
