bin picking – Cebu Pacific to ‘strictly enforce’ hand-carry baggage policy

MANILA – The country's largest carrier Cebu Pacific on Friday said it would "strictly enforce" its hand-carry baggage policy starting July 17 to streamline operations and to provide a more efficient check-in experience.

Passengers are only allowed to bring one hand-carry baggage inside the cabin with a maximum weight of 7 kilos and should not exceed the dimensions of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm for Airbus flights and 56 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm for ATR flights, the airline said in an advisory.

In addition, each passenger is allowed to carry one laptop bag or hand bag on top of the 7 kilo baggage.

Meanwhile, adult passengers traveling with infants may carry one baby bag, aside from their allowed hand-carry baggage.
