MANILA—Instead of being asked to stop working on the movie, Anne Curtis said her husband, Erwan Heussaff, supported her and treated her "like a baby" while shooting her latest action flick, "BuyBust."

According to Curtis, she sustained multiple bruises and wounds as she worked on stunts and fight scenes.

"Madami po. Parang nakailang pasok ako sa 'Showtime' na puro pasa sa legs, puro pasa sa arms," she said, adding that some wounds on her arms were still fresh when she and Heussaff wed.

Curtis played down one incident involving being hit in the face.

"And yes, this was the first time I ever got punched in the face by a man," she said. "Yes, I was physically injured during shooting this film, pero, alam mo 'yun, masaya siya. OK lang."

How did Heussaff react to her injuries?

"Mas lalo lang ako nabe-baby, kasi parang naawa siya sa akin," Curtis said.

"You know, in fact, I think it's what made him even more excited to see this film because he saw how much effort was put into shooting this film."

"Buy Bust" is billed as one of the most ambitious action projects in local cinema, employing more than 300 stuntmen and using more than 250,000 grams of gunpowder.

A co-production between Reality Entertainment and Viva Films, "Buy Bust" also co-stars MMA star Brandon Vera, Nonie Buencamino, and Victor Neri.
